Amar Haikal is an Indonesian film director and screenwriter. Born in Jakarta, 3 January 2000, Amar studied film directing at Jakarta Institute of Arts, where he directed his short film Bising / Chorus of The Wounded Birds (2023) which won the National Jury Competition at Minikino Film Week 2023 and nominated for Best Short Film at Festival Film Indonesia (Citra Awards) and his thesis film Anak Macan / My Plastic Mother 2025.
